About Me

I am from Oakville, Ontario and I currently work at CBC News.

My journalism career spans nearly six years, but my passion for storytelling and connecting with people has been a lifelong pursuit.

For the past three years, I've been sharing stories through television and radio at CBC Toronto and Nova Scotia, navigating the fast-paced environment of daily local news with tight deadlines. The adrenaline rush of this work is something I thrive on and deeply enjoy.

My reporting journey began in Guelph, Ontario, a beautiful city just an hour away from my hometown. During my three and a half years in Guelph, I wrote around 1,500 articles, focusing primarily on community stories. This experience taught me what makes communities thrive and allowed me to hone my storytelling skills.

When the time was right, I fulfilled a long-held dream by transitioning to broadcast journalism at CBC.

I have covered a wide range of stories on television, radio and web that include including natural disasters, healthcare, crime and politics.

Each move across Canada has enriched my understanding of the diverse cultures that make our country so unique.

For me, the joy lies in uncovering extraordinary stories within the ordinary.

Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to sharing these stories with you.
